About Padgett Business Services
Padgett
addresses all the bookkeeping, accounting, tax and payroll needs
of a small business. Our clients are primarily in the retail
or service sectors of the economy. Most of our clients are owner
operated and with some exceptions, have fewer than 20 employees.
We are not a big 8 accounting firm nor are we “basement
bookkeepers”. We have developed a complete service so our
clients can focus on what they like to do best. Using our service,
our clients sell their goods or services, collect their money,
and pay their bills. We do the rest.
We track the money in and out of our client’s business,
do all monthly tax reporting and supply useful reports and information
back to our clients every month. We stay informed on changes
in tax compliance and let our clients know if any change will
affect them.
We
pickup every month at our client’s place of business and
strive to have everything back in two business days. For clients
who are often on the move, our offices are conveniently located
for drop off and pick up.
We establish a flat monthly fee for our services that often
will save our clients money compared with other services. Year
ends and corporate or personal taxes are made easier because
we have worked to gain an understanding of our clients needs
throughout the year. Our staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and
accessible to you.
The Victoria Capital Region franchises are located at Quadra just
north of McKenzie and Sooke Road at Kelly Road has been operating since 1992. We have
the support and resources of a national firm to help your business
and the casual flavour of a friend to help your piece of mind.

Glenn
Vickers, P.A. – Partner, Accountant
Glenn has over 25 years experience running
businesses. He has held senior management positions in
private and public companies and since 1992 has helped
hundreds of companies through Padgett Business Services.
Glenn is a member of the Candian Institute of Professional Accountant and a member of The Canadian
Payroll Association.
Glenn wants to be an astronaut when
he grows up.

Hammond, P.A. – Partner, Accountant
Chris has been helping small businesses
succeed in Victoria since joining Padgett Business Services
in 1995. Chris is a member and a director of the Candian Institute of Professional Accountants and a member of The Canadian
Payroll Association.

Watt - Senior Bookkeeper
After ten years with us Vikki has become a partner in our newest office in Vernon BC. Her knowledge
of the workings of many industries and government agencies
has made her a valuable asset to Padgett customers.
Vikki wants to become a Vet when she
grows up.

Gary Vickers - Payroll Manager
Gary manages our Paytrak Payroll
Services. His extensive
knowledge of the payroll process, employment standards,
HRDC and income tax has made him a valuable asset to
all of our clients. Gary is a member of the Canadian
Payroll Association.

Vickers - Payroll Specialist
Kay is Gary's backup in our Paytrack operation. Her friendly attitude and special knowledge of small payrolls is a great asset to many clients.

Michelle brings many years of bookkeeping experience to our Padgett offices. She has recently completed her tax courses and looks after the needs of may of our clients.

Barb is a bookkeeper in our westshore office. Barb has lived on Vancouver Island her entire life. Barb is a graduate of Camosun College Business Admin Accounting diploma program.
