If any of our clients have their business down to an art form it has to be John Wilson of The Foam Zone. John and his wife Erica have been supplying foam products to Victoria for 17 years.

The Wilsons have taken what seems to be a simple product and with great skill and care, are able to produce a wide variety of solutions for many applications. By purchasing their raw material in various sizes and densities and then cutting, forming, and upholstering in-house, they are able to match the perfect mattress with each individual requirement.

They also specialise in upholstery of R.V. Cushions, V. Berths and Window Seats. Customers can choose their colours and styles and in no time at all have their boat and R.V. cushions looking new again.

Other products offered by the Foam Zone include Quality Foam pillows, Superior Foam Toppers, Waterbed Conversions, Wheelchair cushions and bolsters and wedges.

The Foam Zone has been located in the Town and Country Plaza just a few doors down from WalMart since 1994. The decision to move to such a high profile location was not taken lightly. John had to weigh the benefits of the high traffic location against the high cost. The reduction in necessary advertising expense however more than offset the increased rent expense. The Foam Zone is a good example that the three most important things in retail are location, location and location. Their location is convenient, the store is bright, and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

The Foam Zone was one of the first clients to join Padgett’s Victoria franchise. “They worry about all the things I don’t want to worry about.” Says Wilson. “I know every day what the business does and I let Padgett worry about recording it and making sure that the tax reports are done accurately and paid on time.
